The Aragvi Cultural Guide was created within the framework of the project "Transcaucasian Trail - Cross-Border Tourism Development" supported by the USAID/Georgia Economic Development, Governance and Enterprise Growth (EDGE) program.

The guide allows hikers and other interested to discover the unique and amazing nature of the Aragvi Valley, learn about the biodiversity, culture, cuisine, local customs and folk holidays of Pshavi, Khevsureti and Gudamakari, as well as receive information about new tourist routes. Note: before hiking, please note that these trails have not yet been marked or maintained. These historical trails have been mapped and added to OpenStreetMap by the Transcaucasian Trail NGO of Georgia in order to aid navigation, but trail conditions vary widely. Trail users are ultimately responsible for their safety and all decisions regarding the trail routes, conditions, weather, and security. Besides, People in Need disclaims all responsibility and liability for trail safety.
