People in Need (PIN) is a Czech non-governmental organization founded on the ideals of humanism, freedom, equality and solidarity. Considering human dignity and freedom to be fundamental values. Having administered projects in more than 50 countries over the past 25 years, PIN has become one of the biggest non-profit organizations in Central Europe.
People in Need has been working in Georgia since 2006. Currently, the organisation advocates for and facilitates locally-led development, strives for long-term results by engaging young people and effecting systemic changes through interventions that are inclusive, evidence-based, environmentally & climate-sensitive, as well as promotes human rights.
If you represent CSO/media outlet led by non-dominant ethnic group, registered as n(n)le and want to contribute to advocate for long-term solutions addressing the challenges of non-dominant ethnic groups revealed by COVID-19 the call is for you!
Call for partnership is open, within the regional project “EU COVID-19 Solidarity Program for the Eastern Partnership 2020-2022”, funded by the European Union.
Eligible fields for advocacy intervention:
- Health (access to health-care services, information related to healthcare, etc.
- Social Protection (social services, etc.)
- Education
- Economic recovery
- Human rights (including, but not limited to discrimination, disinformation etc.)
