Since its inception in 2009, the Eastern Partnership (EaP) initiative has offered an important roadmap for reform and closer integration with the European Union (EU) for six of its eastern neighbors: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
