People in Need Georgia organized empowering workshops for teachers in Imereti and Adjara regions! Together, we're delving into the realm of "Media Literacy - Digital Skills in School Education."

Public and private school teachers, alongside representatives from local self-government and educational resource centers, converged to embrace the profound impact of media literacy.

These workshops break away from the conventional sit-and-listen format. We're injecting energy with engaging non-formal education methods, sharing valuable resources to turbocharge the teaching-learning process!

We're acquainting teachers with the OWIS (One World in Schools) methodology, exploring manuals and exercises, and igniting discussions through thought-provoking documentary films.

Happy to join forces with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and school community members in these regions! Together, we're forging the path for the development of media literacy skills in the younger generation.

Big shoutout to the "Media Literacy for Democratic and Resilient Society in Georgia" project, in collaboration with Radio Marneuli, and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Let's persist in this journey towards a more media-literate and resilient society!
